| 368137 | 2005-06-30 00:58:00 | Very new to Win XP Pro and cannot find W M P under All Programs, Accessories, Entertainment as per Help - all that is under there is Windows Media Connect. Using Windows Explorer I find W M P under Program Files. However, I want to create a shortcut on the desktop so I think I need to know which .exe file to make the shortcut to and I have 3 to choose from:- migrate.exe setup_wm.exe wmsetsdk.exe None of these looks a likely suspect to me Please, how do I create a desktop shortcut to Windows Media Player ? |

| 368138 | 2005-06-30 01:03:00 | It almost seems like it has been uninstalled or a custom install without it. The exe should be "wmplayer.exe" and should reside in "Program Files \ Windows Media Player" | wuppo (41) | ||
