| 367660 | 2005-06-28 07:55:00 | Using win Xp I used to be able to insert pictures into a Word document by clicking on insert and on picture, locating the picture in my pictures and double clicking on the picture. Now it does not work. Any ideas please ? | heaton (3697) | ||
| 367661 | 2005-06-28 07:59:00 | Since about a month ago, I too have lost that ability . It seems (to me, probably the only person with this opinion) that the latest M$ updates or HotFixes have really messed with the setting in WORD . I have just dropped WORD and gone with OpenOffice for a while until Mr Bill gets this all resolved . Currently, I get error messages the WORD could not fire the project or the Visual Basic Environment Could Not Be Initiated . A lot fo gobble-degook methinks . I have tried all the tweaks, changing file associations and names and renamed folders and such . . . no good . I will wait and use OO for a while . . of forever if that's what it takes . |

| 367664 | 2005-06-29 10:48:00 | Hi Heaton. Apologies in advance if this is too basic.... but if you have your document open with View>Normal or View>Outline, you will not see the graphics. They only show if you are in View>Print Layout of View>Web Layout. Also worth a try.... In Tools>Options>View on the Print and Layout area, if the Drawings option is not selected then no picture will appear. This happened to one of our machines recently after a basic introduction to Tools>Options allowed one lady to reorganise everything........ |
