367609 2005-06-28 09:21:00 You might need Nerovision aka Nero digital then .

And select Nerovision express / cd video / cd .

This will give u the option to add wmv which I think MM saves files as .

And other video formats

367613 2005-06-28 22:07:00 Sorry Laura. What I meant was that I used Nero to create a VCD and it miraculously transmuted into MPEG format. I burned it to a CDRW and suprisingly this played the clip on my Technics DVD player on the TV set. Which was my ultimate objective.

Plod - so far as I can see WMP can handle MPEG but it isn't obvious that it will import video and code it for MPEG. Certainly didn't for me and I don't recall seeing any choices when I downloaded from the camcorder.

367614 2005-06-28 23:36:00 I am reluctant to ask this, but are you making your own version of "Bonanza" on VCD?

Starring Winston001 as Hoss? (Little Joe might be more appropriate it is rumoured?)

Splutter cough! Good thing I wasn't drinking my coffee when I spotted this . :p

Although there is a certain parallel . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . it is about these modern-day warriors on iron (and rubber and plastic) horses who venture into desert lands well known to Laura for a showdown with an outlaw band by the name of the Brass Monkeys .

Think of me as a sensitive Ben Cartwright . :D
