| 368083 | 2005-06-29 21:52:00 | On installing Firefox 1.0.4 and then installing Thunderbird 1.0.2 computer froze. On restarting, stalls on Detecting IDE drives for quite some time then Message NTLDR is missing. Press Cntrl/Alt/Del to restart. This ends with same result. Must I re-format the drive and start again, or is there a way I can recover this file? |

| 368084 | 2005-06-29 22:17:00 | This seems to occur frequently, a Google on NTLDR missing gives quite a few hits including the Microsoft Knowledge Base. This looks like a useful site on how to try a repair: www.bestpricecomputers.ltd.uk Edit: another useful site: www.computerhope.com |

| 368086 | 2005-06-30 09:07:00 | The easiest way is to copy the folder from another Win 2000 on your network (if you are on one) You could also try copying the file from a recovery CD (if you have that) You may need to expand one of the cab files though |
