| 368607 | 2005-07-02 03:26:00 | Just done a clean install on my laptop (XP Pro). I've re-installed Firefox (1.0.4 off the latest PC World cover disc) and I'm experiencing the same problems that I had a few months ago i.e. not loading pages at all, giving "bad syntax" message on some pages and defaulting to Google at times when I type an URL in the locator bar. I found a fix for this last time, but I can't remember what it was; I think I might've even made a posting about it; but it could've been a year or so back. Can someone give me a hand here please. When I find the fix I'll record it somewhere safe. |
