| 368468 | 2005-07-01 11:46:00 | I saved some files in my USB drive but when I tried to retrieve it, not a single file shows up..although on the clicking properties on the drive shows that some memory is being used. The file properties on the drive is FAT and I am using XP home and Pro. Can anyone please advise as to how I can retrieve those files as I am certain that they are saved in the USB drive..just a matter of finding them. Thanks | ephesus (2509) | ||
| 368469 | 2005-07-01 12:33:00 | I've used getdataback (http://www.runtime.org/) before but it isn't free. This thread (www.experts-exchange.com) lists some free ones though. While on the topic, does anyone know a utility that can tell you if a usb drive is physically defective? |
