| 368240 | 2005-06-30 09:48:00 | Hi, I am a Excel user and recently I have tried to learn VB to write my own programs. The trouble is; my version of VB does not do what the books say's it should. Can anyone tell me -how I can tell what version of VB I have and where can I get the latest version from? - how I can create 'splash' screens so I can write stand alone programs? - any good VB sites people can recomend? Any and all help would be most appreciated. Vaughan  |

What version of Excel are you running? If you are looking for online help, try VBA Express (www.vbaexpress.com) or Mr Excel (www.mrexcel.com) - we need more Kiwis on MrExcel plus a lot of the Excel contributors are pretty good with VB (not forgetting our very own Mr Excel MVP 'Parry'). A number of contributors are on both forums so it's best not to double post your question, unless you don't get an answer from the other forum. Andrew P.S. And welcome to Press F1! |
