369263 2005-07-03 19:32:00 hi, my computer will start to boot normally then detect my memory, once it has said that my memory has been detected ok it will freeze where it would usually boot up the ide drives. can anybody help me??? mikecul (8474)

Mikecul - can you tell us what sort of drives you have, what sort of computer are you using, what has been done just prior to this problem.. more info please.
Off the top, have a look at the BIOS settings, are the drives set for AutoDetect?
Inside the machine, are the IDE connections (assuming they are IDE drives) connected properly.
