| 368820 | 2005-07-03 06:34:00 | Hi In order for us to help you, we need more details about your problem. Are you using XP or ME? Do you mean you lose all system sounds or just music for example? Have you checked your volumes under System > Sound? When you say "close" down, is this shutting off the computer? Have you installed any software/hardware just before this started to happen (especially seeing System Restore fixes the sound)? What sort of sound card do you have, onboard (most common) or a separate sound card? |

| 368821 | 2005-07-04 04:48:00 | Hi I am using XP, The sound is working when I close down from using the computer,then when I open up again later, no sound The system is only about three months old (new computer ) I presume its an on board sound card but don'tknow Thanks for your assistance |
