368854 2005-07-08 05:57:00 Have you got NAT/Port-Forwarding/uPNP setup Miami Steve?

Check other the Azureus homepage, they have some good answers.
I didn't do anything as far as setup is concerned. I'll have a read at that Azareus page. I guess it may even be worth installing Azareus as an earlier post mentions that it does all the setup automatically for NAT etc.

I am currently downloading a 5.8Gb file (it's about 12% through and says it's got 15 days to go). Is there any way I can resume downloading with Azareus, or will I have to start from scratch if I am using a different client?

368856 2005-07-08 15:05:00 Depending on the previous application, Azureus should be able to carry on without a problem. Did for me when I carried on a linux ISO that I was half-way through. I was lovin it! :D Chilling_Silence (9)

I've downloaded/installed Azareus. Set up port forwarding on the router and I'm getting speeds up to 45-50Kb/s - far better than I was getting before. Now I will have the fulldownload in less than 2 days, rather than 2 weeks

You say use Asureus as it utilizes UPnP no worries about NAT/ADSL Router port forwarding.
I have Azureus v2.3.0.4 and all I get is a Nat error.
Can you help me?

The ADSL Router you use must support UPnP. What ADSL Router are you using (Brand/Model). Azuerus will open up the ports in the NAT using UPnP, and when you close Azuerus, it also will close the ports in the NAT. UPnP means no more issues about 'port forwarding/pin holing'
However, if your ADSL Router does NOT support UPnP, then of cource Azeurus can not set up the port forwarding.
