Help someone... my connection through my D-LinkAirplus xtremeG+ DWL-G520+ wireless PCI adapter often drops connection leaving that X on the connection symbol... when I right click I can 'repair' the connection and after it does several tasks it works again... up until recently I didn't care about this much as it wasn't a complete disaster but now I am playing BF2 and I have to re load it (takes forever)and is very annoying. I have XP sp2 and 1.6g p4 1gig ram 9800pro ati the router is a US robotics 9105 connected to an Apple Airport extreme... (yes apple) I have a powerbook and Ibook that all connect through same airport and I don't experience any problems with them... I have updated all drivers and firmware for router...done the switch all off and all on again etc the signal is showing good connection also... any sugestions? |

Sounds like an areial position problem, try moving it around a bit, or get a better areial. |

I'll try that but it shows that it has a strong connection... I'll move them tonight... Gav |

There are two parts to it, the signal strength and signial speed. |
