| 369351 | 2005-07-04 11:21:00 | Hi, i recently tried to install a 802.11g wireless lan card on my PC i put the card in first then installed the drivers after reading the guide in more detail i should of done it the other way around, so i tryed to uninstall the drivers and take the card out to do it again, but once i load the cd to install the drivers again it says do you want to remove all the components, so i said yes but then it gives me a error saying Usedll failed, could not load.dll file,i tryed system restore but when i insert the disk and click on the install driver and utility button it gives the same dll failed error, anyone know wht the problem is :help: |

| 369352 | 2005-07-04 21:45:00 | Try telling Windows to get rid of the driver, then see if it already has it's own driver for your card. Go into device manager (windows key & pause/break then click on hardware), expand network adapters, right click on your wifi card & click properties. Click on the drivers tab & it should have a button for uninstalling the driver, or roll back the driver, or both. I'm on a 2k computer at the moment & I can't remember how XP does it. If you have the rollback option, click that, otherwise click uninstall. |

| 369355 | 2005-07-06 12:17:00 | yea i use xp prof sp2, i went to the deice manager, network adopter but it just calls the wireless card unknown device so i went to update drivers but it says it cant find updates and to use the disk i have but the diski have wont work cause i messed it up first time i tried to install it :dogeye: and now when i click install drivers and utility manager it asks me if i want to remove the selected applications componet and if i hit ok it still says Usedll failed, could not load.dll file, i could try searchin the net for the drivers if anyone knows were they are plz tell | mickeyc (6724) | ||
