| 370358 | 2005-07-07 22:52:00 | does anyone know how to transfer avi files from computer to a sony rdr-hx710 dvd recorder using firewire. What software would i use?. Computer picks up the dvd recorder as Sony DV Tape Recorder/Player but no option to paste to the unit. Do the files need to be rendered to mpeg first? | mronhb (1100) | ||
| 370359 | 2005-07-07 23:04:00 | Nero/Nero Digital or most Ulead programs should, if they can reads avi files. http://www.nero.com might do it if it supports this burner. It doesnt normally work, if u copy and paste to a blank dvd. You need a program to convert it to dvd format before it'll play in an external dvd player. http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ might work, as I think Nero digital needs a dvd plugin, which isn't free. |
