| 370277 | 2005-07-09 03:27:00 | LOL Well after the initial shock of hearing a few things i didnt know, about web pages the inns and outs, and all about mine...... it is a little bit safer.. i have a password for it....LOL didnt know you should have one before, didnt know what a stat page was either, so grief ...the brain was a little overloaded. Thanxs for the help yesterday people's, much appreciate your guidence, as i knew not much about them at all. Going to have a meeting with the webperson this week and see what happens, and yes if it doesnt work out im on the lookout for a new person and to learn how to do some of this stuff, for next time. You walk away with the domain name and website contents - but you need to copy them to your computer - the webhost is normally under no contractual obligation other than to supply the hosting service. if you've already paid for another yeat's hosting, probably hard cheese; you're stuck with them for another year. But it sounds like a storm in a teacup - your host is there for you when you need them, and they have no need to be contacting YOU when you want changes - they're not mind readers. |

| 370280 | 2005-07-10 09:17:00 | Um but considering they never completed the original web page is this not something to grump about? i was not told and did not know i could have access to the stats, didnt know that it wasnt set for google. and yeah its just as much my fault, but surely it should have been completed and not lost in the pile? and im paying full price for something thats not working properly. yeah i know, its a beetle thing.... so. And considering they were supposed to take more photos, to complete it as well.....It has changed heaps in looks so yes does need it more so now, but why not the follow through? Everyone is entitled to a fair job. I presumed it was complete, i have never done one and can see now i am none the wiser on what to look for to get things done. :rolleyes: beetle |

I done a seach for it six months ago and came up with nothing. I would be pulling the pin and getting a refund. |

Now im not just blaming them, i am just as guilty of being lax, I cannot recall such a time to have to just concentrate on finishing anything, other than assignments in the last 3 yrs . but i had enuf battles this year to last a lifetime about things, and clean forgot about the web page . or what ever you call it, im sure we all do this from time to time, and it wasnt really top priority as i have other accommodation sites with a page of selling my motel . ill keep this in mind and have a surf around a little more, to get some fresh ideas .
