| 370862 | 2005-07-10 00:56:00 | Is It me, Is it my pc or is it Directx Might and magic 7 wont run Hi Guys (And gals) I recently got a new pc game to play (Might and magic 7) But when i installed it on my WIN XP PRO computer it would not install saying it needed DirectX 6 or higher. However i had DirectX Version 9 Does anyone know how to get past this? Any help would be Very Much Appreciated. Thanks Techiekid PS: Might and Magic 7 Is a fairly old game. But runs on win 95 98 me and 2k |

| 370866 | 2005-07-10 07:44:00 | www.ntcompatible.com I had a Win3.1 game that insisted Program Manager launch as part of the install. The choice was abort or Yes. Choose yes, it hung. End tasked, had a go at running it anyway and voila it did. |

| 370870 | 2005-07-13 03:53:00 | Did you do as suggested by Jen and run the install in compatability mode? Access the data on teh cd, right click the install or setup exe and select compatability, Windows 98, then run the exe. Other then that,check the official site, if its a known issue then there will be more info on it, if its only you having this issue then.... .....Ditch Nortons, Its the source of all Evil. |
