| 370767 | 2005-07-09 17:05:00 | no need to spend that sort of money for a LCD. www.dcsl.co.nz that is a damn good monitor, these have been selling about 10 a week at work. they have a 3 Year Warranty, 8ms response time, and made by PolyView. And a 5 Pixel Warranty. (website says Chi Mei, but Chi Mei manufacturer's both CMV and PolyView). i have a CMV 17" TFT, and this thing is damn sweet. |

| 370768 | 2005-07-09 17:19:00 | Is it worth repairing the old lcd monitor? I think I plugged the power into the monitor without switching the main power off at the wall Smoke started coming out from the monitor and then just switched off. It never switched back on again IS it worth repairing and maybe use it as a spare monitor later on in life?lol |
