| 371143 | 2005-07-11 03:53:00 | I have just installed a downloaded version of Zone Alarm pro V5. After installation it worked fine the first time, asking if I wished to allow programs to access the internett etc, and I was able to access the internet. Since then however I have not been able to go online while ZA is opperating.I have checked program control and the programs that I wish to use are all ticked to allow connection, but I cannot connect. I printed the Program manual but cannot find anything that explains what is happening. I an running Windows XP with SP 2 installed and Symanted Antivirus. I currently have the Windows firewall turned on as the only way I can connect is to turn ZA off. Any ideas? thanks Scott |

Funnily enough if i have any of these programs running and then turn Z A on they seem to work Ok. The only programs that I have ticked in program control are : Eudora Firefox Internet explorer Nortons Antivirus SWMAPI MFC Appli |

| 371152 | 2005-07-14 09:54:00 | I use ZA Pro on a dial up stand alone PC and also use Symantic anti virus so that combination is not the problem. Is XP's firewall turned off? Maybe there is a conflict there. |
