| 371828 | 2005-07-13 09:04:00 | just got a dynalink external rural modem to help overcome line noise. the volume control in control panel/modem doesn't affect the sound level of the modem dialing out at all. is there anything to do or any code i can insert to silence the thing? cheers. :help: | KMoA (2743) | ||
| 371829 | 2005-07-13 09:27:00 | If u use XP, go to control panel/phone and modem options/modems . Double click on the modem / the modem tab . Move the volume slider to off . Voila no sound . Or if ur on dialup, highlight the dialup icon/properties/general/configure . Untick enable modem speaker . |
