| 371525 | 2005-07-12 05:48:00 | I am looking for an FTP client for Linux. I use the Gnome desktop, and would prefer a client that runs on Gnome I know that Konqueror can handle FTP, but its KDE based. Throw me some ideas please :) |

| 371526 | 2005-07-12 05:52:00 | I don't use Gnome or a gui-ftp client. But I do highly recommend sftp, a command-line client that uses ssh. All ftp clients seem to use the same basic group of commands, of which less than 10 you will really ever use, so a command-line client should be no problem at all. | vinref (6194) | ||
| 371527 | 2005-07-12 08:24:00 | There is gFTP which comes with FC4. It is a multi-threaded ftp client and is fine for Gnome - Blurb (www.gftp.org/) and screenshot (http:). If you go ALT-F2 system-config-packages and then look under the Graphical Internet section, you will find it listed under the "extras". |
