| 371505 | 2005-07-12 04:51:00 | This is a bit of a whinge, followed by a question... I have Norton Utilities 2002. All good until Live update wouldn't complete its job- and requested a complete reinstall. Completely reinstalled Utilities, updated everything using live update (56K modem, very long time...). Good for about 2 months. Then same problem, but this time failed to successfully install live update at all. As you can imagine, having a suite that can't easily update patches and virus definitions is next to useless.(tried twice, no luck) don't have any faith now that even if i can get live update to install the same thing won't happen again. I am considering flagging the 8-9 months subscription left and migrating to another vendor altogether. question: best antivirus product? or utility suite? cheers! |
