| 371992 | 2005-07-14 05:55:00 | Hi all just installed a new burner (liteon cd rewriter 52x32x52) and when i incert any media cdr cdrw or any cd for that matter the drive will not see it nor read it and cd writer soft ware says no media incerted. checked install and all jumpers ..still no go . Please help. :confused: running win 98se |

| 371993 | 2005-07-14 06:37:00 | When you boot your computer, is the writer seen in BIOS? You may have to enable it in there first. After bootup, go to device manager and see if its listed there as well |

| 371995 | 2005-07-14 10:07:00 | Have you tried uninstalling the software (which I assume is Nero, as Nero comes with Liteon players); uninstall the writer from device manager; and then reboot. Install software, reboot again This may work (did for my partner with Liteon CD-R and Nero on 98SE ages ago) |

| 371996 | 2005-07-14 10:18:00 | I'm not running nero... i'm running nti cd deluxe. any way the cd writer won't run up any cd what so ever ..the lights work when i put a cd in but will not run up. Checked all cables all seem ok ??????????????? |

| 371999 | 2005-07-14 16:13:00 | Done still no go This happened to a friend recently with a Pioneer dvd burner i got for her. I rang the supplier (Tauranga Computers) and they replaced it immediately. They will likely ask if you have checked the jumper and cables. |
