| 372693 | 2005-07-16 08:02:00 | Until a few hours ago Far Cry ran very well indeed and has done so for months. Now it comes up with the error message Critical Error Error loading DLL Crygame.dll error code 182 Any thoughts, or any links to a site that trouble shoots this game? I do not want to reload the game as I would loose all my play history over several months of playing! Many many hours of fun <grin> |

| 372696 | 2005-07-16 10:14:00 | Pctec, not sure that is possible, as Far Cry does not even start, but perhaps the save game feature is located somewhere other than on the game CD? Not looking good - but thanks anyway. |

Not looking good - but thanks anyway. When you save the game, it writes a file to your hard drive - it couldn't put it on a Non-writable CD. I'm not sure where - some games have a SAVE sub-folder within the games folder and some make one in the MyDocuments folder. HAve a llok through your hard drive for them. |
