| 373244 | 2005-07-18 07:54:00 | Has anyone else had a problem with a Win Gimp installation? I downloaded & installed GTK 2.6.8 then installed Gimp 2.2.8. It all looks fine until I want to open a new file; then I get the following error message; " Pango-Error **. file shape. c:line 75 (pango_shape): assertion failed: (glyphs->num-glyphs > 0) aborting......" and then it aborts when I click OK. Google hasn't been much help. It seems some other people have experienced this but there's no fix. I tried re-installing, that didn't work. Is there someone can enlighten me please. |

Installed by network from exactly the same place I tried to install from on my PC. So there would have to be an issue with my main computer? |

Installed by network from exactly the same place I tried to install from on my PC. So there would have to be an issue with my main computer? I presume it is XP is it not and also you installed the GTK first. What is the processor's of the respective machines? |
