372993 2005-07-17 16:58:00 I just downloaded a video and however I try to play it in any media player (I tried MPC, WMP10, WA5 and QT7), it always returns this error message "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error!" (sal.neoburn.net). I opened the file in GSpot and clicked render, and this error message (sal.neoburn.net) was returned. I had a quick Google but couldnt find any answers. I watch tons of videos in all sorts of formats and have never had this error retuned in any other way. Help?

I use WinXP sp2 with neccessary codecs installed.

372994 2005-07-18 00:05:00 give vlc a try, although it probably wont solve the problem, but you will have one more media player installed plod (107)
