372919 2005-07-17 10:10:00 Hi all

When i print out an image at full page size the result is always way too dark. The strange thing is that if i print out the same image in postcard size the result is perfect!.I dont understand this at all, can someone please help?

Have you checked the colour settings under the printers Properties/Preferences?

Sorry I don't have an Epson, but if the location of said setting are not obvious to you, look in Control Panel > Printers folder, right click your default printer and choose properties and/or preferences.

Also look for a printer cailbration button somewhere. This will print out a page with different colours on it.

It could also be a colour space issue, that is, a mismatch between what you see on the monitor and what is being printed. You could try setting your graphics editing prgramme, monitor and printer to the same colour space such as, sRGB or Adobe sRGB. I'm a bit out of my depth here though, as I normally just follow my nose with the defaults (BTW, is it Word you are inserting into, what grahics programme are you using and what version Windows?).

Oh yeah! Welcome to PF1.
