| 1388203 | 2014-11-17 07:23:00 | Just bought this PC from PB , it has got Asrock H81M-HDS socket 1150 MB. Installed Win7 Home Prem 32 bit (yes, it's 32 bit because I need to run an old piece of software which only runs in 32 bit system), installed all the device drivers activated it, all went through smoothly. But, when I plug in my USB flash drive into the Front USB 3 port, nothing show up; tried another USB stick, same thing, nothing happens. What have I done wrong or missed something? |

And did you install the chipset drivers? May pay to update the BIOS too (www.asrock.com) if its not 1.90. It may fix a few things. But if you do, get the instant flash update. Since you can do this in the BIOS. Its easier to flash. The windows BIOS update can brick it if something freezes. |

| 1388206 | 2014-11-17 08:57:00 | Thanks, linw. Yes, the first thing I checked was the cable connection, it is connected, I even unplugged it and reconnected it. Anyway, I got it fixed - it's the driver from the CD that caused the problem! I downloaded the driver from Asrock site, installed it and it works! :) |
