| 1375708 | 2014-05-24 08:04:00 | I did, until this morning. As soon as I got word on Twitter that 24/7 were going under I got a database dump and downloaded what I didn't already have locally, and started looking for a new host. Found one last night and was fully changed over as of today  Tried to find an article about it but cant locate one yet. www.3news.co.nz |

| 1375710 | 2014-05-24 08:12:00 | Ended up getting a reseller plan from Hoopla and split it with two other friends. It turned out to be cheaper (each) than 24/7 and I get more space and bandwidth :p | pcuser42 (130) | ||

| 1375712 | 2014-05-24 09:58:00 | I have (had) two websites with them. Lack of response in the last few days - now I know why! Just shows what happens when things are too cheap! |

I got an email from Voyager during the week regarding the renewal of a domain name that I had cancelled last year, they said they couldn't get hold of 24/7.. but I didn't think anything of it because I had just updated the SEO stuff for my own site but after seeing the news item I figured something was up. Time to get things moving. |

| 1375714 | 2014-05-25 09:20:00 | This has been on the cards for a year or two now. We moved all our domains and websites away from 24/7 just over a year ago due to the terrible support and not being able to make contact with anyone when you needed them. The usual tickets being closed without being answered, no answer on the phone etc. Glad I did the move when I did. |

The usual tickets being closed without being answered, no answer on the phone etc. Glad I did the move when I did. That's interesting because I only signed up with them in August last year. I found their level of help to be fairly minimal to say the least. I never actually tried to ring the 0800 number. |
