1375531 2014-05-22 20:17:00 Um, I'm not talking about Jen this time.

But has anyone noticed the sky full of migrating birds? The best I could find out is that they're seasonal, and transporting themselvels to Europe. I think they're a type of wader.

There's been thousands of them flying North overhead over the last few days - a wonderful sight.

1375535 2014-05-22 23:42:00 Are you sure that they are not sooty shearwaters (Puffinus griseus) - a medium-large shearwater in the seabird family Procellariidae? Zippity (58)
1375536 2014-05-23 00:39:00 Thanks for the replies. My eyesight isn't good enough to properly describe them, but they were a dark colour. And I guess they were somewhat similar in size to a pigeon. Shearwaters could be right. Greg (193)
1375537 2014-05-23 01:26:00 Did you check their visas, passports etc? If their paperwork is not in order and airways charges etc. paid up to date, they shall be detained pending an order by the Minister of Chooks. R2x1 (4628)
