1375084 2014-05-16 23:00:00 From today's Telegraph:

:clap Footage of Wizz Air's low pass over downtown Budapest during the airshow on 1 May.

Fly past - from the Ground (www.telegraph.co.uk)

Fly past - from the Cockpit (www.telegraph.co.uk)

Cpt David Morgan and Cpt András Árday made the first ever low altitude fly-by overhead the bridges of Budapest with an Airbus jetliner.

Somehow, I don't think it's the same Captain David Morgan, Chief Flight Operations & Safety Officer/Chief Pilot at Air New Zealand.

1375088 2014-05-17 02:22:00 I thought that he was going to go under the bridge. This would have been startling for people who were crossing the bridge. Bobh (5192)
1375089 2014-05-17 06:42:00 Hope the passengers were suitably impressed. Whenu (9358)
1375090 2014-05-17 06:54:00 Love flyby's

Remember 12 to 14 years ago at the War Bird's Wanaka a Air NZ 727/737(empty) did a couple of run through's in differing config's contaminating in a beat up along the runway at about 100 feet ending with a aggressive pullup into the cloud base

This never made it to the official video, there would be someone from here that may have seen it also or heard about it

1375093 2014-05-17 21:52:00 Imagine if this was done over the leafy suburbs of Auckland. There would be an even more vigorous letter writing campaign to the Herald.. paulw (1826)
