1375726 2014-05-26 05:29:00 Yeah I saw a _lot_ of negative feedback about them back in the day.

To be honest I'm in the process of migrating all my stuff now across to CyberHub ( I know the owner, we go back a way. Straight up bloke, top notch service from him and the team, real honest guy too, and he's got some kick-ass kit as well! Definitely not a "fly by nighter" like these guys 24/7" target="_blank">www.cyberhub.co.nz/). I know the owner, we go back a way. Definitely not a "fly by nighter" like these guys 24 guys, he's been around for a while, and although he's not the cheapest, he offers a good quality service that's worth paying for.

Finally got an email with the UDAI codes that I need to transfer my web domains to a new host. Ill check out CyberHub :)

1375729 2014-06-01 22:58:00 Their website is still up!

They sent me another invoice 2 days ago !

I may pay it if they credit my last payment and restore my website.

I'll give them a few days more...

1375731 2014-06-02 03:50:00 Please someone advise me... why is there such difficulty in re-establishing your or your customers' websites to another host? I mean really, if you created the site and uploaded it to 24/7, the original is on your computer, right? :groan: Greg (193)
1375732 2014-06-02 05:45:00 There is often a fair difference between original and current. Even if the site layout has not been updated or patched, the odd Mbit of data comes and goes and that data is much more valuable than the site. (At a guess.) R2x1 (4628)

Because they don't back them up.
Even for those that are not updated on the home PC, no reason they shouldn't be downloading the amended version off the server.....but far too many people think the hoster will keep their data safe forever.

Even Webdrive only keep backups for 2 weeks. Note! BACK IT UP!
