Why would anyone sign up with them in the first place?
I always researched before I did....I found WebSlice very good.

We know that this has impacted our client base personally and professionally. We know that much speculation has been swirling in the New Zealand news media, and overseas. We know that we have a huge clean-up task on our hands, to put things right for you.

The management structure and ownership of 24/7 Hosting NZ has been urgently reviewed. A formal announcement will be made early this week.
Meanwhile, we have refreshed our team with experienced and capable staff who will be working through every support request with urgency. We understand that for some this will be too little, too late. To all of you, we very sincerely and humbly apologise.
In the long term, we hope to find ways to make things right. Immediately, our focus is on restoring a stable and reliable service.

I always researched before I did....I found WebSlice very good.

At the time I signed up I was in a but of a rush and I had a referral from one of the other guys in my class. My other class mates all signed up with different hosts so there was no "one" host that was preferred over another.

This time I'm doing a bit more research.

For some reason the debit card details they had stopped working (even though my card is still current), so I paid using online banking (Direct credit) with the reference they gave me. Later emails saying "please pay" said that if you paid via direct credit to ignore it, so I did. Only when I got another email saying my account was to be suspended did I know they hadn't seen my payment - another email back to them and they then did see the payment.

I'm in the process of shifting my site.. as soon as I can get my UDAI codes for both my sites. I keep getting an error message when I try and get the code. Apparently the code is registered with Voyager.co.nz who I have just sent a support request to.

To be honest I'm in the process of migrating all my stuff now across to CyberHub ( I know the owner, we go back a way. Straight up bloke, top notch service from him and the team, real honest guy too, and he's got some kick-ass kit as well! Definitely not a "fly by nighter" like these guys 24 guys, he's been around for a while, and although he's not the cheapest, he offers a good quality service that's worth paying for.
