2014-05-28 01:18:00 | LOL, the propaganda spouted about MJ is incredible!, as a user for over 30+ years, the paranoia your friend feels is just their own insecurities..... | SolMiester (139) | |
2014-05-28 23:15:00 | Yes I agree, all the dope smokers I have met have mental health issues and that includes the clowns who use it for medicinal purposes. They are all a few sandwiches short of a picnic, some the whole hamper and the rug short of a picnic. In earlier times they would be in jail or a mental institutions. Thats where they belong ^^^^the history of the universe began when weed became illegal.^^^^ . paranoia stems from its illegal status.

Nope it's a well documented physiological effect most evident in heavy users, I am not going to get into this argument again though. If you refuse to believe the testimonies of doctors and scientists who do studies and publish results - which are accepted because they follow proper scientific methods - and can't see that believing it's all a big conspiracy is in itself paranoid then you will never be convinced by logic or evidence. I will agree most casual/occasional users (ok all the ones I know) display no noticeable abnormal behaviour and generally seem as healthy as anyone else. Heavy users though are a different story. How many of you have met that guy at a party with the red eyes, slurred speech, random behaviour, going on about how "this stuff does nothing I can't feel a thing" before forgetting what he came over to say and wandering off to tell someone else that he's immune to the effects of weed. I love that guy he's hilarious. Some things are much easier to observe from the outside than to realise for yourself. |

2014-06-05 00:08:00 | The point was the obviously stoned guy at the party completely believes it's not effecting him while everyone else can see it is. You can not reliably judge for yourself what effect any mind altering substance has on you (effect, affect, I always forget when to use whichever). Your ability to perceive is being altered and you don't know what you would be like without ever having tried it because that version of you doesn't exist. | dugimodo (138) | |
2014-06-05 00:10:00 | Party guy was probably drunk as well as stoned , they use booze the same way as any other drug . Party guy usually very much aware they are wasted, that was the whole point of their taking drugs & booze This is one of those topics that their will never be a consensus or middle ground, much like religion & politics :-)
