| 1388209 | 2014-11-17 08:45:00 | Is there genuine, honest, Free Dial-up internet today? I have a friend who cant afford broadband, but could benefit from some internet. |

Kept it as a backup when I first got b/band and I am fairly sure my account still worked about 2yrs ago when I sold my old cptr with a dialup modem in it. I used to use Splurge - it was good until Woosh bought it and neglected it. Try the Consumer's Institute website - I think they keep a fairly comprehensive list of NZ ISPs. So also did a magazine - IIRC it was called Netguide. HTH |

| 1388211 | 2014-11-17 19:39:00 | Is there genuine, honest, Free Dial-up internet today? I very much doubt it. Even Freenet costs money . If they have a laptop, there are allways free wifi hotspots, or maybee try the local library for free internet access . |
