| 1375420 | 2014-05-21 08:53:00 | Hi all, It appears the spam bots are being overly attentive on our forum, which leads me to believe our registration human verification Question & Answer test has been cracked again. Sigh. :rolleyes: Changing the set of questions tends to slow them down for a while, so I am looking for suggestions! For those who have no idea what I am talking about, we have a list of questions with valid answers set up and at registration the 'person' is randomly given one of them to answer. This is to prove they are human and not a spam bot computer program auto-registering on the forum. This system is not 100% bot proof, but certainly slows down the majority. The questions cannot be too open ended as I have to provide a limited range of valid answers. I will delete this thread once I have a some suggestions so future bots cannot find this info. Thanks in advance. :) |
