| 1375359 | 2014-05-21 05:29:00 | The stabbing in Pooks rd - not far from me - was a Pakistani guy who killed his wife and daughter. He then called the cops himself. 5 cop cars and and an ambulance attended and they had the helicopter out as well. Slight overkill.... Todays one was gang related and one person was shot and killed and another shot and injured in Luanda Drive - not far from me and not far from Pooks Rd too. Helicopter out again today. I think from the news reports the injured one went to Waitakere hospital himself as the cops were all over that too. Or maybe it was the shooters.... Whether the shooters were in a car consequently covered up, with cops all round, in Triangle Rd is related, not sure, but seems so. Yep, the Wild West. I was hoping it was that lot over the back from me, but no such luck.... The helicopter is over here so often we call it the Ranui Helicopter. |

As the population grows this will only get worse. But hey, growth is good right? Sorry, just my personal distaste for high population densities coming through. Hamilton where I am is not exempt from this stuff either, but because it's smaller it happens less often. Still a little bigger than my Ideal though. |
