373953 2005-07-21 01:47:00 Hi,

I am starting to tear my hair our - ouch! I keep on getting this message whenever I clikc on To when sending an email.

The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened; it ahve been deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove this fodler from teh Outlook Address Book see.....

I just want to be able to click on To and the people in my address book come up and I can click on them to send an eamil.....

Am I going nuts or is this really really obtuse?

Thanks for your help.

373954 2005-07-21 02:30:00 You don't say what version of Outlook you are using.

support.microsoft.com

Outlook 2002:
Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book. If it is not listed, back up one step
and add it. If it is, then click on Change. to make sure the Contacts
folder(s) you want to display are listed. You may need to enable the
Contacts Folder as an e-mail address book by R clicking the Folder >
Properties and check the "Show this folder as an E-mail address book" box.
Make sure you restart Outlook after making these changes
