| 373410 | 2005-07-19 05:56:00 | My computer when put in standby comes out of it by itself. And some times (like 1 out of 50 times) it comes out of hibination all by itself. I have had this new computer (a Packard Bell) for 7 months, and this problem has been going on from the start. It does not really bug me that much but I have never had a new computer before and don't know how big a problem should be before you take it back while still under warranty. |

| 373411 | 2005-07-19 06:10:00 | There are a number of things which could cause this without it being an actual fault . ;) Does it happen when your phone rings? There is a setting which will cause the computer to wake up whan that happens . Does it happen at a fixed time . There is a way to set that up . Talk to your retailer about this . I don't thing it's really a warranty fault, but they might ask you bring it in so they can change the settings so it won't happen . If you are confident about using the BIOS setup, post here again, and someone will give the specific instructions . |
