| 374424 | 2005-07-22 16:12:00 | Howdy Just downloaded and installed firefox 1.06. I'm a big fan of tabbed browsing. Pressf1 forum is my home page. Normally I click a link with the scroll button (middle click) and it opens up in a new tab in the same window. I middle clicked on a bold link and nothing happened. I middle clicked a non bold link ie old/read link and it opened fine????? Uninstalled, ran crapcleaner to remove everything and reinstalled, same problem occured. Uninstalled, ran crapcleaner and reinstalled firefox 1.04, everything back to normal. Does this happen to anyone else? Cheers Ravage |

| 374425 | 2005-07-22 21:20:00 | I would check the Tools>options menu for tabbed browsing preferences... maybe something has been checked or unchecked that should/shouldn't have been | Myth (110) | ||
| 374426 | 2005-07-23 07:22:00 | Nope... That was the first thing I checked, nothing changed from usual setting. I just thought it strange that some links would open and others wouldn't. Not overly concerned, firefox 1.04 giving me no trouble. Cheers Ravage |

| 374430 | 2005-07-24 03:20:00 | Ravage>>>> This is one thing though that I've noticed with FF. If you get an update, it might or might not work right. I just get a new-clean install of each version as they become available. Updates for FF are sometimes iffy, so that's what I've learned anyway. The bother of a new download is not a problem, but I have DSL 2306 down/687 up. If you are using Dial and being charged for time, then try the updates first I guess. |
