| 374362 | 2005-07-22 09:53:00 | After installing AVG anti virus software(and after uninstalling) I can not get my emails plus web sites won't load on my browser(firefox or explorer). Clearnet tried helping but apart from saying that they could see my computer was logged onto the net, none of their fixes helped. I could ping there website as well. I have windows pro xp, dialup account, and have tryed turning off windows firewall+anti-virus, sadly no difference. Clearnet did mention that the ports the computer uses to send/receive info may have been disabled /blocked and they weren't allowed to help any further as a technician would have to fix it in case meltdown occurred. | aceman (5282) | ||
| 374363 | 2005-07-22 10:16:00 | Might be spyware or something. Get hijackthis make a folder, unzip this file, run it, do a scan, and post a log here, if u dont know what file does what. www.spywareinfo.com 1/2 way down the page. |
