374562 2005-07-23 07:24:00 If you're in Auckland, If u have a copy of Windows/Linux, you could buy the ram (PC66 - not sure if PC100 would work), a hard drive, and the case, and I'll give u a P2 266.

I picked it up when we had an inorganic rubbish day lol.

374563 2005-07-23 07:41:00 thanks for the offer mate, but not in auckland anyway and plus was thinking a tiny bit faster than a 266. Plan on putting xp on it, and some version of office... oh and a million security tools to help stop the thousands of viruses and malware she will probably download :p kwyjibo (7195)
374564 2005-07-23 07:47:00 Well I've got a P4 1 . 5 doing nothing .

This just needs PC133, a case . And a hdd . Might chuck it in the bin otherwise, and keep the CPU .

I'm in the process of making up another pc . A 64 bit AMD .

374565 2005-07-23 07:51:00 yeh i got me a 64 bit one, not that it's doing anything special... one day i might try xp 64.... (when i have a backup pc, just in case i screw it :p) kwyjibo (7195)
