| 374183 | 2005-07-21 23:22:00 | Hi All, I am fixing a friends PC and am having problems with IE (who doesnt!!). The cipher strenght keeps dropping from 128 to 0 therefore making it impossible to login to secure sites (bank etc). It also shows the update versions as 0. I have upgraded to IE 6.0.2600. form the original ME's version (5.0 i think) but still the same. I followed the instructions below before the IE ^ upgrade but has made no differance. Woudl prefer to keep using IE (i know all the problems etc but hey thats life) rather than FireFox or similiar. And pointers would be greatfully recieved. System specs are: 900 MHz 256 Ram OS ME 40g HDD Cheers |
