| 375057 | 2005-07-25 21:28:00 | now for the true story the father has 2 lines 1 for phones,1for fax and dial up on arrival i assessed the situation and advised the father he did not not need a splitter as only one jack point, as the only differance is they have an xtra jp with a hidden filter instead of an extension cord and plug in filter What has having only 1 jackpoint got to do with anything? And as for a "hidden filter" - it is NOT a filter. Did you pass any Telecommunications exams? Or do you make it up as you go along? I have 2 jackpoints in my house in total. Tried using a filter on my phone when I first had jetstream installed. It did not help in the slighest - the results were the same whether I used it or left it off. Had a splitter put in which solved my problem nicely. Perhaps in future you should keep your mouth closed and just do what you were sent there to do it. |

| 375060 | 2005-07-26 10:31:00 | Hmm ... this thread is just full of the warm fuzzies from everyone all round. Don't think it is beneficial to anyone now to let it run further. Time to move on, thread closed. |
