I would ask someone u know, for the cd, if ur on dialup .

. microsoft . com/downloads/details . aspx?FamilyID=1e1550cb-5e5d-48f5-b02b-20b602228de6&displaylang=en" target="_blank">www . microsoft . com

Or if u know someone who's using ME, ask them to copy this missing file and then copy it to your system .

Not too sure if the XP version of this file is for ME or not . Otherwise u could ask anyone with ME, XP, or 2000 for this file .

374937 2005-07-25 09:38:00 I am on broadband so won't be a problem. Should I uninstall the version I have first before the download or will it just copy over the top? I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. dianne (1940)

You cant remove IE anyway .

Once you download the update, it should hopefuly fix that missing file error .

After u reboot (it may ask u to reboot, after it updates IE) . Close Internet Explorer before u install the update .

It wont affect Firefox as its a completely different browser .
