I am using the Epson R300 but you don't need that one as it is a stand-alone printer with a monitor and card reader slots. I've printed over 500 DVD and CD disks with mine and has been working very well the whole time. iguana (89)

How do the discs look when the disc has got the brand name plastered all over the surface - seems to me it would use a lot of ink to cover all that up?

375745 2005-12-05 13:04:00 You don't print on disks with the brand name on them. You use printable disks that are plain white. They are made especially for printing on. No writing on them at all. iguana (89)
375746 2005-12-09 03:39:00 No offence meant, but burning labels onto the CD's just seems like a waste of time. I'm sure most of your CD's come sold with cases and you can just buy ''quikstik'' labels from the department store or stationery shop for a few dollars and use that to label your CD's. Albert (482)

Personally, I would go with with CD/DVDs that come with printable tops (pre labelled in otherwords) and that go through the printer.

People may want to have a more professional finish to their family pics, copied music, ripped DVD movies. I think printing on the disc is a fantastic idea. I always get the printable discs even though I still mark them with a pen.

Exactly what I do.

Though I have been meaning to get a printer that can do CD's, Pity I hate printers and just end up giving them away.
