| 376368 | 2005-07-28 09:31:00 | My display has just started to scroll up and down in a manner that makes mouse clicking a bit like shooting hoops! The page moves in an unpredictable way and the mouse cursor will sometimes creep a bit. I have run all the usual virus checks, and downloaded the latest mouse driver, but it still happens. I have an HP pavillion 522a PC with a Logitech optical USB mouse, made for HP and the whole system is about 3 yrs old. I also regularly defrag and generally keep the system pretty clean. As I type this, the page is going top to bottom of the display. Anyone got any idea whats going on? Or is it just a dud mouse? BTW. I do not have another handy to eliminate or confirm this possibility and live miles from the civilised world. |
