| 376360 | 2005-07-28 05:20:00 | I use win 2000 with McAfee virus Firewall and Virus checker. My Scrabble game will no longer play and I get the following error message: CCore application error. The screen is blank. Have tried disabling Firerwall and Adwatch with no result. Thanks Dot P. :help: |

| 376361 | 2005-07-28 07:12:00 | Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the game? Is the game actually installed? Do you play this online only, if so, what browser version do you use and do you have the URL for that website? | Jen (38) | ||
| 376362 | 2005-08-01 19:28:00 | Yes I have re-installed the game several times after uninstall from CD. No changes. Have disabled Adware and Firewalls. What is CCore application. Is it part of Windows or the game? Thanks Dot |

| 376363 | 2005-08-01 21:52:00 | Is it one of the Atari versions of Scrabble (there are 3) Maybe your screen resolution isn't automatically changing when the game starts Try changing it before starting the game The page is troubleshooting another Atari game but may be applicable to yours Here is a cut & paste from the Atari site "I receive an error message: 'Query interface failed. CCore application error'." This error will occur if the video card does not meet the requirements for the game. Starship Troopers requires a card supporting 640 by 480, 16-bit color resolution. If your card meets those requirements, try changing your screen resolution to 640 x 480 x 16-bit color. If that doesn't help, ensure that DirectX v7.0a is installed on your system. To learn how to change your screen resolution, please refer to our Windows 95/98/ME Video Troubleshooting FAQ. To learn how to reinstall DirectX, please see the "DirectX Installation" portion of this FAQ, or our Direct X FAQ page. www.atari.com |
