| 376240 | 2005-07-28 02:03:00 | Hi guys After I got the Java "virus" this morning, I checked everyhting again exhaustively. Went to Trendmicro for a housecheck and it found two worms : rbot.lk and mytob.a. Googled to see how to remove it. Did everything the various sites said, but could not find a single file, registry entry, etc that said I had the worms. I could not find an automatic remover. My AV's picked up nothing, only the eicar.test virus I d/l'ed last week. Spyware proggies also clear. Checked with other inline scanners - clear. I am worried that the frickin worms are here and I don't know where to look or am I a bit paranoid? Where the hell do they come from - I do not surf the frickin net at all. I also saw that to do a housecheck on Trendmicro, you have to use MS. Firefox not supported. Any other on-line AV that will recognise FF? sarel |
