375866 2005-07-27 05:17:00 Please can anyone give advice on how I can produce a pdf file (to send to a copy bureau) from a WordPerfect document (I use WordPerfect version 8). The document I wish to send is a 20 page booklet - the pages printing two per A4 page - and WordPerfect handles the pagination nicely (putting page 1 with 20, 19 with 2 etc.)
Thanks in advance....

375867 2005-07-27 05:35:00 Hmm there are programs that can convert from other formats to PDF .

BUT not too sure if Wordperfect is one of them . Even with Adobe acrobat pro, it doesnt have an option for Wordperfect files .

So, you can convert it to PDF .

Can you save the file as something else besides a wordperfect file?

Convert the Word Perfect doc using Open Office Writer (word processor), which natively converts files to pdf or, change over to Open Office (it's completely free).

375870 2005-07-27 06:32:00 The best program I have found to do this is a free one, Primo PDF, it gives you the option to print to a virtual PDF printer on your computer, thus you can use it with any program that will allow you to print from it. I use it a lot, no problems so far. Every now and again you will be asked if you wish to register your email addy with them, just go to Task Manager and close the program, then retry the virtual printer again, it will not ask again for quite a while, when it does repeat procedure.
