Can you really remove a fan from the motherboard and maybe replace it with a heat sink instead? You can remove a fan and replace it with a quiter fan on the cpu. On the northbridge hsf you can replace that with a heatsink. *You could get a fan controller for your fans to quiten them down. Where would I get one and would this be easy to install? You can get one from a computer shop, yes it is childs play to do it. (plug fan controller power cable into a psu cable and then plug your fans onto the conectors on the fan controller, screw fan controller into one of your drive bays, turn computer on,turn your fans down/up with the knobs/buttons. |

Get them to plug the computer in and listen to the problem themselves. Im picking the computer is still under some sort of warranty, and for you to do the work yourself (and possibly make a mistake) would null and void any type of warranty. |
