376753 2005-07-30 10:57:00 I have emailed lots of PC busineses asking if they can order these parts for me, they have all replied with "no they can not". I relise I can go to Dick Smith and buy a IEEE/1394 PCI card but I have this facility allready incorporated into the motherboard..... all I want is the bracket to install in the rear of the PC and the cable to connect it to the Motherboard. Any other advice would be appreciated, Cheers. Marshman (7857)
376754 2005-07-30 11:25:00 I've done a run through my normal suppliers stocklists and none of them had one, will keep looking for you.
I'll email my asus supplier and see ih he can source one
What about one of these
It is front mounted and will connect directly to your motherboards connection and you won't have to poke around the back of the PC

376755 2005-07-30 12:05:00 bartsdadhomer... thanks for your help. I like the look of that AVlab front mounted option. I have emailed the supplier and asked what type of motherboard connection is provided with this unit. My motherboard has an 8 pin port connection, I don't know if this is standard or not. I will hold back a little while and see if you have any luck with my original option, thanks very much once again.. Phil out. Marshman (7857)
